Bus tickets can be purchased on the Tpilet website, mobile application or ticket vending machines, bus station ticket offices, Cargobus terminals or from the bus driver.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for 10 to 180 days, depending on the bus company.
However, we recommend that all passengers arrive at the bus station (regardless of whether they already have a ticket) at least 15 minutes before departure.

The 12550 helpline is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 19:00 and from Saturday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 (excluding public holidays).

You will be charged €0.30 per minute, plus local call charges imposed by your telephone operator and connection fees based on your service package (Telia €0.3196 per minute, Tele2 €0.30 per minute, Elisa €0.62 per minute – according to 24.03.2016).

From Tpilet you can search for schedules and buy bus tickets. Upon payment, you can print your e-ticket or order your ticket number via SMS. Before the journey, you must print your ticket either at the ticket office or at the ticket vending machine. The ticket must be printed on paper when entering the bus. Online sales will end 5 to 60 minutes before departure from the initial stop, depending on the bus company.

Ticket sales at ticket offices are generally closed 5 minutes prior to departure.
From 01.07.2020, bus tickets can be purchased from Cargobus terminals all over Estonia. This option will help increase synergies between bus station convenience services, parcel delivery and ticketing.
All Cargobus terminals across Estonia also have luggage hold, where you can conveniently store your travel bags if necessary.

Provided that there are available seats, tickets can be bought from the bus driver starting 5 minutes before departure. Payment is mostly in cash.

Returning a ticket bought at the bus station:
- 100% of the price of the ticket will be refunded if the ticket is returned at least 24 hours prior to departure.
- 60% of the price of the ticket will be refunded if the ticket is returned at least 5 minutes prior to departure.
Returning a ticket bought online (at least 30 minutes prior to departure):
- Regardless of the paid sum, the service charge for returning the ticket is €1.00 per ticket. The money will be refunded within three business days.
- Depending on the rules established by the bus company, a refund fee may be added when returning the ticket. See the rules established by specific carriers in more detail HERE.
