Tallinn Bus Station will celebrate its 60th anniversary this July. For six decades, it has been the gateway to song and dance celebrations. This is where many people’s journey to the heart of the big celebration has begun and will continue this year.
The Song and Dance Celebration flame, which was lit in the Estonian National Museum park in Tartu in the early morning of June 15, will reach the capital on July 2. On the same day, Tallinn Bus Station, which will soon be celebrating its 60th anniversary, will welcome the song and dance community with a joyful exhibition.
«To celebrate the anniversary year and the XXVIII Song and XXI Dance Celebration «Iseoma», we have brought a thematic exhibition to passengers so that summer bus trips from Tallinn Bus Station can begin and end in a party atmosphere. We invite you to take part in special moments and stop for a moment and feel the great party at the beginning of your journey,» says Kadriann Raud, Marketing and Communications Manager of Tallinn Bus Station.
The colourful display of the exhibition features the most famous leaders and directors of the Song and Dance Celebration. The exhibition was prepared in cooperation with the Song and Dance Celebration team and is part of the broader initiative «Culture Walks in Bus Stations», which is being implemented by the Tallinn Bus Station manager, T grupp OÜ.
«Tallinn Bus Station has welcomed thousands of Song and Dance Celebration participants over the past 60 years and has served as a gateway to a great party for them. We are pleased to welcome our people here with an exhibition, either at the beginning or end of their journey. The Bus Station is our good partner, and such an exhibition helps bring the party feeling to the heart even before reaching the Song and Dance Celebration or the dance floor,» says Sten Weidebaum, Information Manager of the Estonian Song and Dance Celebration Foundation.
